TOGETHER WE ARE SHARING THE FAITH ACROSS THE AIRWAVES!
Join thousands of Catholic on a Lenten Spiritual Journey
"In the evenings, when my wife and I join thousands of people around the Country and the world to pray the Rosary we feel part of a large family of families praying for one another. We hear requests for prayer from people who need a cure from cancer and other diseases, relief from financial burdens, prayers for the departed, or in thanksgiving for graces received, and many other intentions. We join this praying community through the Nashville Catholic Radio, which broadcast the Family Rosary Across America every evening at 7:00 PM. This Lent, you too can join this spiritual community by tuning in to 100.5FM if you live withing the city limits, or online at www.Nashvillecr.com, or by downloading the Nashville Catholic Radio App. See directions below on downloading the App.
The Church tells us that Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Lent is a journey of spiritual growth. This spiritual journey is not easy but it can be made easier when it is travelled in the company of others. In the Diocese of Nashville, we are blessed by the presence of a 24/7 spiritual companion, Nashville Catholic Radio. Listening to the local Catholic station during the day is a constant reminder that we are all children of God, and our purpose is to love and serve him.
Throughout the day Nashville Catholic Radio brings us opportunities of prayer, from the hourly recitation of the Memorare to the Noon Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, then at 3:00 PM the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and in the evening the Rosary. In between these prayer moments we can hear very informative and inspiring shows explaining what we believe, how to read and understand the Bible, and how to put our faith into practice each day. From 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and then again from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Nashville Catholic Radio broadcasts locally produced programs about what is happening in the Diocese, how faith can guide us in our business dealings, and it shares with us the witness of young people living out their faith.
Please help us keep the station broadcasting with your contribution in prayers and donations. Nashville Catholic Radio serves as a spiritual companion to all members of our Diocesan family, not only during Lent but throughout the year."
